When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there is oversubscription within a category, the Local Governing Body will give priority to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance (see Note 5). Distances measured using GeoCode Points via Arcview GIS; if still tied, random selection (lottery) supervised independently.
Note 1: Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan naming the school must be admitted; this is dealt with by a separate procedure before allocation under these criteria. Supplementary Information Form required for Catholic applicants, returned directly to school by 15th January 2027. Twins/multiple births admitted where logistically possible if one is last ranked within PAN. CATCHMENT: For the purposes of this policy, parish boundaries are as shown on the Archdiocese of Birmingham parish boundary map...and will be applied to the admission arrangements for the academic year 2027/2028. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Worcestershire County Council. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
