When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Within each criterion, priority will be given to those who live nearest to the school by shortest straight-line distance, measured using GeoCode Points/Arcview GIS; in the event of equidistance or multiple births, places allocated by random selection (lottery) conducted by a suitable person independent of the school.
Children with an Education Health and Care Plan naming the school are automatically admitted and deducted from the 60 places available before ranking. Home LA transfer application deadline stated as 15th January 2027, indicating September 2027 entry. CATCHMENT: Other children who live in the Oldbury Park Primary School Catchment Area. A copy of the Catchment map is available from the Local Authority. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Worcestershire County Council. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
