was the furthest place offered for 2021-22 (Reception). The council's figures don't show whether anyone was refused, so it may not have been a cut-off.
Last distance offered at St George's Catholic Primary School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there is oversubscription within a category, the Local Governing Body will give priority to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance (see Note 5). Distances are measured in a straight line using the GeoCode Points for each property and the GeoCode point for the school. Where there is no way to separate final qualifiers, a random selection (lottery) is used, supervised by someone independent.
The admission of pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan is dealt with by a completely separate procedure; children with an EHCP naming the school must be admitted before these criteria are applied. Twins and multiple-birth siblings will, where logistically possible, be admitted together even if it exceeds PAN. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Worcestershire County Council. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
