was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2026-27 (Year 7). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at St Peter's Catholic School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there is oversubscription within a category, the Local Governing Body will give priority firstly to children who will have a brother or sister attending St Peter's Catholic School at the time of admission and then secondly to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance. Where unresolved, a computerised system will randomly select the child to be offered the final place.
EHCP: The admission of pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan is dealt with by a completely separate procedure and such children must be admitted before oversubscription criteria are applied. Waiting lists are ranked in oversubscription criteria order and re-ranked as children join. Children on the waiting list attending a named feeder school who have not been offered a place by the beginning of Autumn term 2027 will be re-ranked to reflect they will no longer attend that feeder school. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Solihull MBC. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
