When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there is oversubscription within a category, the Local Governing Body will give priority to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest straight line distance (see Note 5). If distances are equal, a computerised random selection system is used.
Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan naming the school must be admitted before these criteria are applied (Note 1). Twins/multiple-birth siblings admitted where logistically possible even if it exceeds PAN. Deferred entry permitted up to first day of summer term 2028.
