When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there is oversubscription within a category, the Local Governing Body will give priority to children living closest to St Augustine’s Church, Solihull determined by the shortest straight line distance (see Note 5). Where distances are equal, a computerised random selection system is used.
Note 1: Children with an EHCP naming the school must be admitted before these criteria are applied, reducing places available to other children.
