When there are more applications than places for 2025-26 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there is a tie, the applicant to whom the place will be offered will be determined by the Local Authority by independently managed random selection (unless this involves multiple births, in which case, all the siblings will be admitted).
Children with an Education Health Care Plan that names St. Alphege Schools will be offered a place first; this reduces available places. Document mentions this is for Solihull MBC despite being supplied by Telford & Wrekin index - school named is St. Alphege, location references Solihull. Priority 2 (roll at St Alphege Infant) applies only to Junior School applications, not included here as this entry is for Infant School. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Solihull MBC. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion. | Previously recorded here: Reception "How places were offered" 2024-2026 (National Offer Day 16 April): Solihull council — priority + distance (miles) of last child offered.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
