When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there is oversubscription within a category, the Local Governing Body will give priority to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance (see Note 5). Distances measured using GeoCode Points and Arcview GIS; random selection (lottery) used where distances are equal and PAN would otherwise be exceeded.
Note 1: Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan naming the school must be admitted; this is dealt with by a separate procedure before oversubscription criteria are applied. PAN is 30 for Reception entry September 2027. Waiting list maintained until last day of summer term 2028, re-ranked as new applicants join.
