When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there is oversubscription within a category, the Local Governing Body will give priority to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance (see Note 5). Distances are calculated on the basis of a straight-line measurement between the child's home address and the main entrance of the school. Random allocation used where distances are exactly equal and cannot otherwise be separated.
EHCP: The admission of pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan is dealt with by a completely separate procedure; children with an EHCP naming the school must be admitted, reducing places available to other children. Change of address considered up to 31 March 2027. Deferred entry allowed until first day of summer term 2028; part-time places until compulsory school age. CATCHMENT: Baptised Catholic children (see Note 2 below) living in the parish of St Mary’s, Brierley Hill, Our Lady of Lourdes, Cradley Heath or Our Lady of Lourdes, Kingswinford. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Dudley MBC admission arrangements directory. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
