Haslucks Green School

When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 3), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

1. 1Looked after and previously looked after children — Looked after children and all previously looked after children who are now adopted or subject to a residence order or special guardianship order, including those children who appear (to the admission authority) to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted
2. 2Exceptional social or medical needs — If your child has specific social or medical circumstances that can only be met by Haslucks Green, this will be taken into account.
3. 3Feeder school link — Children attending Burman Infant School at the time of application and continue to attend for the remainder of year two, are given priority, supporting continuity in education.
4. 4Catchment sibling — Children normally resident in the catchment area with a child on roll at Haslucks Green Junior School.
5. 5Catchment — Children normally living within the school's catchment area.
6. 6Sibling — Children who have a brother or sister at the school at the same time.
7. 7Children of staff at the school
8. 8Distance — All other children living closest to the school measured in a straight line from home to school.

If two applications tie: If a priority group has more applicants than places available priority will first be given to those with a brother or sister at the school and then to those living nearest the school (measured in a straight line from home to school).

Children with an EHCP naming Haslucks Green Junior School will be offered first and are not allocated through these admission arrangements but will reduce the number of places available. Note: despite being labelled by Telford & Wrekin Council, this document text refers to Solihull Council and Haslucks Green Junior School, which appears to be a Solihull school, not a Telford & Wrekin school.
