When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In any priority, if two or more applicants have the same distance but only one place can be offered, a computerised random allocation system will be used to decide which applicant has the highest priority. The applicant with the lowest random number will have the highest priority. The random allocation system will be carried out independently of the Admissions Authority or overseen by an independent verifier.
Within any oversubscribed priority group, priority is first given to those with a brother or sister at the school and then to those living nearest the school (measured in a straight line from home to school). Staff priority applies to staff employed for two or more years at time of application, or recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skills shortage.
