When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of the school reaching capacity mid category, the Admissions Authority will allocate places using a random computer allocation process for all of the students in that category, which will be independently monitored. This will take account of any priority within the category afforded to siblings/children of staff/children from feeder schools.
A maximum of 200 places prioritised for categories 1-8 inclusive, of which a maximum of 170 places prioritised for Catholic children (categories 1-3 inclusive). Within each category, sibling priority and children of staff priority are applied in stated order. EHCP children are admitted under separate procedure before these arrangements.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
