When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of two distances being equal, lots will be drawn by a representative independent of the Admission Authority.
Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first as required by law (not numbered as a criterion). Twins, triplets or siblings born in the same academic year are treated equally where there is nothing within the admission criteria to distinguish between them. Distance measurements use GIS Nodal points determined by Ordnance Survey; where a school has more than one Nodal point, the one closest to the geographical centre of the school site is used.
