When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

1. 1Group A (30 places, Supplementary Information Form required) 1. Looked after and previously looked after Muslim children — Looked after Muslim children and those who were previously looked after Muslim children who have been adopted or have become subject to a child arrangements' order or special guardianship order including those who appear to the admission authority to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted.
2. 2Group A 2. Muslim children with a sibling at the school — Muslim children with a sibling who will be in attendance at the school at the time of application and admission.
3. 3Group A 3. Children of a member of the School’s staff — Children of a member of the School's staff in either or both of the following circumstances at the time of application and admission: a. has a permanent contract and has been employed at the School for two or more years; and/or b. was recruited to fill a vacant post for which there was a demonstrable skill shortage.
4. 4Group A 4. Muslim children whose parent/carer participates at the KSIMCoL Islamic Centre — Muslim children whose parent/carer regularly participates in prayers or religious observances organised by the KSIMCoL Islamic Centre.
5. 5Group A 5. Muslim children whose parent/carer participates at any Mosque or Islamic Centre — Muslim children whose parent/carer regularly participates in prayers or religious observances organised by any Mosque/Islamic Centre.

7. 7Group B (remaining places) 1. Looked after and previously looked after children — Looked after children and those who were previously looked after children who have been adopted or have become subject to a child arrangement order or special guardianship order.
8. 8Group B 2. Children with a sibling at the school — Children with a sibling who will be in attendance at the school at the time of application and admission.

Children of a member of the School’s staff — Children of a member of the School's staff in either or both of the following circumstances at the time of application and admission: a. has a permanent contract and has been employed at the School for two or more years; and/or b. was recruited to fill a vacant post for which there was a demonstrable skill shortage.
10. 10Group B 4. Children who live nearest to the school — Remaining places will be allocated to children who live nearest to the school from their permanent home.

If two applications tie: If any criteria within Priority Group A and/or Priority Group B becomes oversubscribed, priority will be given to those children who live nearest to the school. Distance is measured in a straight line using the local authority's computerised distance calculator. If the distance is the same, an independently verified random computer selection will be used as a tie-breaker.

Following the admission of children with an EHCP, a MAXIMUM OF 30 of the remaining places are allocated under Priority Group A to children whose parents completed the Supplementary Information Form; the remaining places are then allocated under Priority Group B to all children, including Group A applicants who were not offered a place and children whose parents did not complete the form. The two groups are listed here in the council-published order; they are not a single sequential ranking.
