Each application must include recent written evidence from a medical consultant responsible for the treatment of the child's or parent's/carer's need which evidences and fully explains the medical need in question; why they must attend this school rather than any other as a result of the medical need in question which could not potentially be met by one or more other schools in the borough if the child were to attend another school; and the application is supported by a written explanation of the difficulties that the child would suffer if he or she did not attend Wren Academy Enfield in particular. If evidence is not submitted to the LA with the application, a child's or their parent's/carer's medical or social needs cannot be considered. The Governors will retain an absolute discretion whether to allow any particular application under this criterion; 3. Siblings — Priority will next be given to the siblings of pupils attending the school at the time the application is received, and 3 further criteria. Tie-break: If in category 5.a and b above a tie-break is necessary to determine which child is admitted, the child living closest to the school will be given priority for admission.
