When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where the offer of places to all the applicants in any of the sub-categories listed above would still lead to oversubscription, the places up to the admission number will be offered to those living nearest to the school as measured by the Local Authority.
Within each category, priority order is: (i) exceptional social/medical/pastoral need, (ii) siblings, (iii) multiple births (twins/siblings from multiple births admitted together where one is last ranked within PAN). Children with this school named in their final EHC plan will be admitted before oversubscription criteria apply.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
