When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where the offer of places to all the applicants in any of the sub-categories listed above would still lead to oversubscription, the places up to the admission number will be offered to those living nearest to the school.
The Governing Body may increase the priority of an application within a category where evidence is provided at the time of application of exceptional social, medical, pastoral or other need of the child which can be most appropriately be met at this school. The attendance of a brother or sister at St Patrick’s at the time of enrolment will increase the priority of an application within each category. In the event of oversubscription within any category, sub-criteria (a) siblings in the school and (b) children of teaching staff (with conditions) are applied before the distance tie-break.
