When there are more applications than places for 2025-26 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Priority will be given to children who live closest to the school, measured in kilometres in a straight line (as the crow flies)... When children have an equal claim to a place because their measurements are the same, we will use a lottery system (random allocation) to offer places to children.
Within each category, applications are further ordered by: (i) exceptional social, medical or pastoral need (placed top of category), then (ii) sibling attendance at the school (placed top after (i)). Applicants wishing to be considered under criteria 1–4 and 6 must complete and return a Cover Note by 15 January 2025 with supporting documentation; failure to do so means the child will not be placed in those criteria.
