When there are more applications than places for 2025-26 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Priority will be given to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance. Distances are calculated ... In the event of distances being the same for two or more children where this would determine the last place to be allocated, random allocation will be carried out and supervised by a person independent of the school.
Within each numbered category, priority is first given to children with siblings at the school, then by distance (closest first), as stated: 'Within each category the school will give priority to children who have siblings at the school at the time of admission... If two or more children have an equal claim to a place in any one category, we will give priority to children who live closest to the school.' The document states the PAN of 30 was 'set... for the reception year in the school year which begins in September, 2023', which appears to be a template/date discrepancy within a policy otherwise titled 2025-2026.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
