When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Distances are measured in a straight line using the GeoCode Points for each property and the GeoCode point for the school. If there is no other way of separating the application according to the admissions criteria... the Local Authority, on behalf of the Local Governing Body, allocate the final place by random selection (lottery).
EHCP: Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan that names the school must be admitted before these arrangements are applied (Note 1). Twins/multiple births admitted where logistically possible even if PAN exceeded. Deferred entry allowed until first day of summer term 2028; part-time places available until compulsory school age.
