When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of equi-distance applicants, or multiple births, any place will be allocated by random selection (lottery). This process will be conducted by a suitable person independent of the school.
Pupils with an Education Health and Care Plan naming the school are automatically admitted and deducted from the 45 places available before the Admissions Committee meets. Within each criterion, priority is given to those who live nearest to the school by straight line distance. CATCHMENT: Other young people who live in the Arrow Valley First School Catchment Area. A copy of the Catchment map is available from the LA or can be seen in school. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Worcestershire County Council. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
