When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where the distance from home to school is identical for two or more applicants within the same oversubscription criteria individual priority will be determined by random allocation using a random number generator.
After the admission of pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan naming the school. Priority within each criterion determined by straight-line distance, shortest first. Criteria (b) and (c) are capped at 14% and 9% of places respectively; if oversubscribed within these criteria, priority determined by distance; children not offered under (b) or (c) are re-ranked according to criteria (d) to (g). CATCHMENT: Each school has a defined Priority Area (sometimes referred to as a catchment area). Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Warwickshire County Council school admissions directory. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
