was the furthest place offered for 2026-27 (Reception). The council's figures don't show whether anyone was refused, so it may not have been a cut-off.
Last distance offered at St Anne's Catholic Academy, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there is oversubscription within a category, the Local Governing Body will give priority to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance (see Note 5). Distances calculated by straight line measurement from the address point location coordinate of the applicant's home address to the centroid of the school. Where it is not possible to separate final qualifiers, random allocation (lottery) will be used.
EHCP: The admission of pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan is dealt with by a completely separate procedure; children with an EHCP that names the school must be admitted, which reduces places available to other children before oversubscription criteria applied. Deferred entry allowed until first day of summer term 2027; part-time attendance possible until compulsory school age. CATCHMENT: For the purposes of this policy, parish boundaries are as shown on the Archdiocese of Birmingham parish boundary map which can be accessed at https://www.birminghamdiocese.org.uk/boundary-map and will be applied to the admission arrangements for the academic year 2026/2027. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Warwickshire County Council school admissions directory. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
