When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Distances will be calculated by straight line measurement from the address point location coordinate of the applicant’s home address (as set by Ordnance Survey) to the centre point (centroid) of the school in question. Where distances are equal, the Local Authority will select the child to be offered the final place by random allocation (lottery).
EHCP: Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan that names the school must be admitted before these arrangements are applied, per Note 1. If oversubscribed within a category, priority given to children living closest to the school by shortest distance. CATCHMENT: For the purposes of this policy, parish boundaries are as shown on the Archdiocese of Birmingham parish boundary map which can be accessed at https://www.birminghamdiocese.org.uk/boundary-map and will be applied to the admission arrangements for the academic year 2027/2028. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Warwickshire County Council school admissions directory. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
