When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Priority to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance (straight line measurement from the address point location coordinate of the applicant's home address to the centre point (centroid) of the school). In the event of an equal distance, random allocation (lottery) drawn by two officers of the Admissions Service in the presence of a local authority Solicitor.
Parish boundaries as shown on the Archdiocese of Birmingham parish boundary map apply. The school is part of the Our Lady of the Magnificat Academy. Twins and siblings from multiple births will, where logistically possible, be admitted where one of the children is the last child ranked within the PAN.
