When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there are more applications than places within any of the above Category 2 place admission criteria, applications will be considered in order of straight line distance from home to school as measured by Wandsworth Council’s Geographical Information System. For Category 1 places, pupils with the same standardised test score will also be prioritised in order of straight line distance from home to school. Where applicants have identical distance measurements, priority amongst them will be determined at random.
The admission arrangements distinguish between Category 1 places (up to 60), allocated by highest scores in the Wandsworth Year 6 Test, and Category 2 places (remaining 180), allocated according to the five oversubscription criteria listed above. Children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs or Education Health and Care Plan naming the school are admitted first, as required by law, before Category 1 and Category 2 places are allocated. The document text refers to 'September 2025' for the admission number statement, though the policy title and review dates indicate this document applies to the 2027/28 admissions cycle.
