When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Once the above rules have been applied, and if there were to be a tie within any of the above rules, then any further places will be offered in distance order - Home to school distances will be measured in a direct line from a point on the home address as held by Sheffield Council defined in the Local Land and Property Gazetteer, (or similar property database) to a central point within the main Academy building using Sheffield City Council's computerised mapping system. Where two or more applicants have a home address at the same distance from Academy and it is necessary to decide which child will be admitted, random allocation will be used. The random allocation process will be independently supervised.
Children with an EHCP naming the Academy are admitted prior to offers made via co-ordination and are included in the school's PAN. Multiple births: if the next pupil due to be admitted is part of a twin/triplet/multiple birth group, all may be admitted even if this exceeds capacity.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
Children attending these settings are given priority in this school's admissions.
