When there are more applications than places for 2025-26 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Criteria 4 is also used as a tie-breaker. Whenever two children have the same priority based on criteria 4.2 or 4.3, for example, then the child who lives closest to the school will be given the higher priority.
Policy adopted from North East Lincolnshire Local Authority's criteria for Community and Voluntary Controlled Schools. Attending a school nursery or pre-school setting on a school site does not give priority for a place. Where parents have shared access, only one address can be accepted; if parents cannot agree, the address where Child Benefit is paid is used. Twins/triplets edge cases referred to allocation panel.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
