When there are more applications than places for 2025-26 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of oversubscription within any criterion, preference will be given to children who live nearest to the Academy as 'the crow flies'. Distances are measured from the principal entrance of the main administrative building of the Academy to an address point (using eastings and northings as defined by Ordnance Survey) to the child's home using the Nottinghamshire County Council's computerised distance measuring software. In the event of two distances being equal, lots will be drawn by an independent person.
Admission under Special Circumstances (medical/social needs supported by written professional evidence) takes precedence over all but the first numbered criterion. Nursery unit has a maximum of 26 places. Document references both North-East Lincolnshire Council and Nottinghamshire County Council's software, which may indicate an error in the document.
