When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: The straight line distance measurement provided by Hertfordshire County Council's GIS system, shall be the determining factor in offering admission. Distances are measured using a computerised mapping system to two decimal places, from the AddressBase Premium address point of the child's house to the address point of the school.
Criterion Preferences applied within each category in order: 1) exceptional social/medical/pastoral need, 2) children of staff, 3) siblings of Catechumens and Eastern Christian Church members. Multiple births admitted together even if over PAN. Sixth Form external applicant PAN is 50, with year 7 criteria applied giving preference to Catholic applicants in case of oversubscription.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
