When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

1. 1Looked after and previously looked after children — Looked after children and previously looked after children. A looked after child is a child who is either in the care of the local authority or being provided with accommodation by a local authority in the exercise of their social services functions, or was previously looked after but immediately after became the subject of an adoption, residence or special guardianship order. This also includes children who appear to have been in state care internationally (IAPLAC) and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted.
2. 2Children of staff — Children of staff where either: i. The member of staff has been employed at the school for two or more years at the time at which the application for admission to the school is made, and/or ii. The member of staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.
3. 3Catchment area — Students living in the catchment area of the school.
4. 4Siblings — For the main point of admission: siblings of children in Years 7 to 13 who are on the roll of the school at the time that the allocations are made and are expected to be on the school roll at the time of the proposed admission. For immediate In-Year (casual) admission – siblings of children in Years 7-13 at the time of admission.
5. 5Exceptional medical or social needs — Children who have exceptional medical or social needs which can only be met at this school supported by written evidence from a doctor, social worker, educational welfare officer or other appropriate person.
6. 6Distance order — Once the rules have been applied, then any further places will be offered in distance order using the methodology set out in the County Scheme.

How places were allocated, published by Buckinghamshire Council for the September 2026 intake (Allocation_Profile_2026_-_Secondary_Second_Round_-_20_May.xlsx). The council records: "All applicants offered under rule 3 (Catchment), rule 4 (Siblings) and some further offers made under rule 6 (Distance) to 2.687 miles.". Distance of the last allocated child: All applicants offered under rule 3 (Catchment), rule 4 (Siblings) and some further offers made under rule 6 (Distance) to 2.687 miles.. Where the school can take some, but not all, of the students who qualify under one of these rules, priority will be given by taking account of the next rule (or rules) in the list. Twin/multiple birth siblings may be admitted even if this exceeds the PAN. EHCP children admitted before all others in the normal admission round, and admitted even beyond PAN outside the normal round.
