When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

1. 1Looked after and previously looked after children — A current 'looked after child' or a child who was previously looked after but immediately after being looked after became subject to an adoption, child arrangements, or special guardianship order including those who appear (to the admission authority) to have been in state care outside England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted. A looked after child is a child who is (a) in the care of a local authority, or (b) being provided with accommodation by a local authority in the exercise of their social services functions.
2. 2In-area siblings — Children living in the normal area served by the school at the time of application and admission who have brothers or sisters attending the school at the time of application and admission.
3. 3In-area children — Children living in the normal area served by the school at the time of application and admission
4. 4Out-of-area siblings — Children not living in the normal area served by the school but who have brothers or sisters attending the school at the time of application and admission
5. 5Other children — Other children whose parents have requested a place

If two applications tie: In the case of 2, 3, 4, or 5, choices have to be made between children satisfying the same criteria, and those children living nearest to the school (measured by straight line distance) will be given preference. In the event of two distances being equal, lots will be drawn by a representative independent of the admission Authority.

EHCP children are not explicitly mentioned in the oversubscription criteria (though the School Admissions Code requires them to be admitted first as a statutory matter). Distance measured by straight line using GIS seed points determined by Ordnance Survey. Twins, triplets and siblings born in the same academic year are treated equally with no distinguishing criterion between them.
