When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Distance will be measured in a straight line from the child's home address to the academy's front gates on Jermyn Crescent. Priority will be given to children who live closest to the academy. Where the distance between 2 children's homes and the academy is the same, random allocation will be used to decide between them. This will involve drawing random sealed envelopes with name of one child per envelope. This process will be independently verified.
Policy approved by AGB March 2026; review date January 2027. Siblings definition includes step siblings, foster siblings, adopted siblings and other children living permanently at the same address.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
