was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2026-27 (Reception). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at Priory Park Infant School & Pre-School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Under each criterion, in cases of equal merit, priority will go to children living nearest the school as measured by a straight line. In the event of two or more children living at the same address point or two addresses measuring the same distance from the school, the ultimate tiebreaker will be random selection, witnessed by a Council officer, who is independent of the Admissions Team.
Local-authority coordinated default oversubscription criteria for Cambridgeshire County Council's community and voluntary-controlled schools (the council is the admission authority). Some community/voluntary-controlled schools in this authority apply catchment-area, feeder-school or priority-area variants — check the individual school for its exact arrangements. Document also gives a separate default ordered list for Junior schools (10 criteria, including partner infant school attendance) which differs from the Primary/Infant list extracted above.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
