When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where there are more applications than available within any one of the above criteria, applications will be allocated to those living closest to the school. The distance will be measured using the same method as the Local Authority... Where two or more applicants live equidistant from the school, as measure by the Local Authority, the remaining places will be allocated by random allocation; the process will be independently supervised.
Multiple births rule: where a family of twins, triplets or multiple births request admissions and one child has been offered the 30th place or the last place the 'expected pupil' rule comes in and the other twin/triplet is offered a place. Supplementary Information Form (SIF) required for church attendance criterion, must be returned by midnight 15 January 2027.
