If two applications tie: Children who live nearest from home to school will receive priority for any criteria that are oversubscribed. If the distance between home and school is the same, which includes the same geographical property reference (such as a block of flats), random allocation is used as a tie-breaker. BwDBC's School Admissions Team will undertake the random allocation process in the presence of a school representative.

The school operates a two-group allocation system: up to 50% of remaining places (after EHCP) go to Muslim applicants (Priority Group A) in criteria order 1–7; remaining places go to all other applicants including those refused under Group A (Priority Group B) in criteria order 1–5. When an odd number of EHCP children are named, the number of Group A places is rounded down to the nearest whole child. Late supplementary information forms result in the application not being considered under Muslim faith / mosque membership criteria.

Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
