When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Equidistant applicants allocated by random selection (lottery), supervised by someone independent of the Trust board.
A child with an EHC Plan naming the school will be offered a place (statutory duty, not ranked). Where too many applications from within catchment, priority decided by: sibling connection, then children of staff, then distance. Sibling definition includes half-siblings, adopted children, step-siblings, child of parent/carer's partner, and children of same-sex civil partnerships living at same address. Multiple birth siblings all admitted even if over PAN, exempt from Infant Class Size legislation. CATCHMENT: Pupils living within the catchment area of the school. Copies of catchment area maps, if required are available from the LA, or can be viewed in schools. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Worcestershire County Council. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion. SOURCE WAS A SCANNED DOCUMENT with no text layer, read by OCR (tesseract, 300 dpi) on 2026-09-13 and checked for readability before use. The published admission number was deliberately NOT taken from this document: OCR can misread a digit silently, and the PAN is the figure parents plan around. | Previously recorded here: Worcestershire First & Primary allocation-day statistics, distance of last successful candidate (miles, crow-flies), NOD; 280mi source typo capped.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
