When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 5), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of equi-distance applicants, any place will be allocated by random selection (lottery). Someone totally independent of the Governing Body will supervise this process.
Within each criterion, priority is given to those living nearest to the school by shortest straight-line distance (measured via ArcView GIS using Geocode Points), before the equidistance tie-breaker applies. School may exceed PAN by up to two places for high-risk-of-exclusion, Relevant Looked After Children, or Fair Access Protocol placements.
