Every applicant who applied on time was offered a place for 2026-27 (Year 7), so there was no cut-off distance. This changes from year to year; check the current year's figures before relying on it.

When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Priority is given based on distance measured as a straight line on a computerised mapping system (eastings/northings) between the home address and the nearest appropriate entrance gate of the school; the shortest distance has priority. Addresses in the same block of flats: the lowest-numbered flat, or the one nearest the ground floor, is deemed nearest. Where two applications are exactly equal after all other criteria, a random-allocation tiebreaker is used, overseen by an independent party not connected with admissions.
This is a shared policy across TrustEd Schools' 9 academies (4 primary/first schools and 5 secondary schools including Mary Webb School); only Mary Webb School's own entry is given here. The full secondary priority order (Priority 1-11) is shared across Belvidere, Church Stretton, Mary Webb, Meole Brace and Oldbury Wells; Priority 5 (Belvidere School only) and Priorities 6-7 (Meole Brace School only) do not apply to Mary Webb and have been omitted, so the ranks below run 1-4 then jump to 8-11 exactly as printed in the shared document. Multi-birth siblings are admitted together where the last child admitted would otherwise be from a multiple birth. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted before these criteria are applied.
