was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2024-25 (Reception). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at Greenhill Academy, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2025-26 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Should it be necessary to distinguish between applicants with equal priority within any of the above criteria, children will be prioritised in proximity order, with those living nearest the school being admitted first. The distance is measured as a straight line from the child's home address to the academy property measured between the two central data points of the home postcode and academy post code. Measurements are calculated using Geographical information System mapping software based on Ordnance Survey and Postcode data completed on the Trust's behalf by Oldham Council. In the event of two or more children living equal distant from the school, e.g. blocks of flats, the place will be decided by drawing lots, the first name drawn will be offered the place.
This policy covers five Harmony Trust Oldham hub academies: Alt Primary Academy (PAN 45), Greenhill Primary Academy (PAN 60), Northmoor Primary Academy (PAN 90), Richmond Primary Academy (PAN 60), and Westwood Primary Academy (PAN 30). The PAN above is for Alt Primary Academy only. Late applications are considered only after all on-time applicants have been allocated places. Waiting lists are maintained by the Local Authority for the Autumn Term only.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
