was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2023-24 (Year 7). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at Graham School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there are not enough places for all the children in one of these priority groups, we will give priority first to those with a sibling at the school in September 2027. ... If within a priority group there are not enough places for all those with a sibling at the school in September 2027, we will give priority to those children with a sibling living nearest the school. ... If the distance tie-break is not sufficient to distinguish between applicants in a particular priority group a random allocation will be used.
This document jointly covers George Pindar School and Graham School with identical oversubscription criteria; PAN figures differ per school as printed. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first by law and are not numbered as an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
