was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2025-26 (Reception). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.

When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If we must decide between applicants in any of the above admissions criterion, the tiebreak will be home to school shortest walking distance, starting with the nearest address. In the event of two or more children living equidistant from the school, the place will be decided by a random draw.
Local-authority coordinated default oversubscription criteria for London Borough of Newham's community and voluntary-controlled schools (the council is the admission authority). Some community/voluntary-controlled schools in this authority apply catchment-area, feeder-school or priority-area variants — check the individual school for its exact arrangements. Document states no state funded schools in Newham have a catchment area, but faith schools (voluntary aided, not covered by this default) use parish catchments and Supplementary Information Forms; some academy schools may adopt different arrangements or use straight line distance/random allocation as tie breaker.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
