When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where applications within any of the above categories exceed the places available, the following order of priorities is applied: (1) a brother or sister on the school roll at the time of admission (governors will, where logistically possible, admit twins and all siblings from multiple births where one of the children is the last child ranked within the PAN); (2) a child whose parent is a member of staff employed at the school for two years at the time of application and/or recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage; (3) children with social, pastoral and medical needs which make the school particularly suitable for the child, living in the parish of St Teresa's, Morden, with strong and relevant professional evidence; (4) proximity to the school of the child's home address, measured in a straight line from the school entrance by the local authority's computerised geographical information system. Where the last remaining place is to be allocated and two or more children live the same distance from the school, the place is decided by the drawing of lots.
'Reception & In Year Admissions Policy and Procedures 2026/27'. Closing date 15 January 2026, common offer date 16 April 2026. The PAN paragraph reads 'in September 2025 up to (60) pupils' - an apparent carry-over typo in the 2026/27 document; PAN 60 is stated. Same criteria apply to in-year applications (maximum 60 per year group, Reception to Year 6). Waiting list maintained until at least 31 December.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
