How places were offered at Longsight Community Primary, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If two or more children have an equal rating after applying the above criteria and it is a tie breaker situation then an independent person from the Local Authority will allocate the place on the basis of random allocation of tied candidates.
PAN varies by school and year group: Longsight Community Primary has PAN of 30 for all year groups (Reception to Year 6); Unity Community Primary has PAN of 60 for all year groups. Within each category, applicants are prioritised according to distance between child's permanent address and school. Distance measured in straight line from centre point of home address to centre point of school using LLPG and Local Authority's computerised measuring system.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
