When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of oversubscription in any one of the categories, the deciding factor will be the geographical proximity of the school, measured in a straight line between the main school gate and a point at the pupil’s home address identified in the Local Land and Property Gazetteer. Those living closer to the school will be accorded the higher priority. In the event of two or more children living at the same address point or two addresses measuring the same distance, the ultimate tie-breaker will be random selection, witnessed by a Council Officer, independent of the Admissions Team.
EHCP-named children admitted first as required by law, prior to the numbered criteria. Waiting list held until 31 July 2028.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
