When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If it is not possible to distinguish between one or more applicants within an admissions criteria, places will be allocated first to those living nearest the school measured by straight line distance as outlined in the note Distance measurements in the Admissions Policy. If the distance criterion is not sufficient to distinguish between two or more applicants for the last remaining place then a lottery will be drawn by an independent person, not employed by the school or working in the local authority children's services.
