Child in Local Authority Care — Looked after children and children who were previously looked after but immediately after being looked after became subject to adoption, a child arrangements order, or special guardianship order... IAPLAC children given equal first priority alongside LAC and PLAC; 3. Current Family Association (Sibling) — This refers to a brother or sister attending the same school when they start there and live at the same address. Includes natural, adopted, half, step or foster siblings, and those living as siblings in the same house; does not include cousins. Sibling claim stands if family continued to live at same house, or moved within 2 miles, or moved nearer to the school; broken if moved more than 2 miles away. Multiple birth siblings are all offered a place, treated as 'excepted' pupils if needed. A sibling link cannot be claimed if the older sibling is in Year 6 at time of application, and 3 further criteria. The school offers 30 places at this entry point. Tie-break: In the unlikely event that two or more children in all other ways have equal eligibility for the last available place at the school, the names will be issued a number and drawn randomly to decide which child should be given a place.
