When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: The following priority may be applied within each of the above criteria. A. Top priority will be given to any child within each criterion who has a social, medical or pastoral need which can only be met at St Mary's Catholic Primary School Isleworth. B. Second priority to any child within each criterion who has a sibling in the school at the time of admission. C. Third priority to any child of a member of staff who has been employed at the school for two or more years at the time of application and will continue to be employed at the point of admission, or who was recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage. D. If the school is still oversubscribed, proximity of the child's residence to the school is used.
Transcribed from St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Isleworth RECEPTION ADMISSIONS POLICY SEPTEMBER 2027 - AUGUST 2028. The governing body is the admission authority and has set the Published Admission Number at 60 pupils for the reception year beginning September 2027. Applications are invited from families whose child attains 4 years between 1 September 2026 and 31 August 2027. The policy records that in recent years the school has been able to offer places to all those who applied.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
