When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of a tie-break under criteria 5 and 6 (not including multiple-birth siblings at the same address, who would be admitted) a random allocation via a blind draw, independently verified, would be made. In the event of a tie-break under criterion 7, the place will be allocated to the student who lives closest to Herts & Essex, using the measuring system described above.
