When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where two applicants (not including twins or multiple births) meet the criteria at exactly the same point after distance has been considered, the following tie break will be applied: random ballot drawn in the presence of an independent witness.
Within each numbered category, ties are resolved by nearest home-to-school straight-line distance before the random ballot tie-break applies. Multiple births/siblings born same academic year receive additional places as described.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
